OSSS, along with our collaborative partners, is proud to support the following events for Oakland early childhood providers: Improving Early Learning Outcomes for Boys of Color: 10 Promising Practices This online training introduces early childhood educators to equity-based strategies and promising practices that support our youngest Boys of Color to thrive. Educators will learn evidence-based reflective processes and instructional practices they can implement right away to strengthen self-awareness, disrupt reactivity and biases and create strength-based environments that are responsive to the brilliance, interests, and promise of our diverse Boys of Color. Part II: Online Learning and Family Engagement on November 14! Oakland early learning professionals will gather on Saturday, November 14, 10am - 12pm via zoom to better understand online learning basics in Part II of this year's Oakland Early Learning Symposium series. Learn about the top three tech tips for online learning and hear practical advice from center and family child care providers.
