 Over the past few months, the OSSS collaborative developed our Policy & Advocacy Agenda. We're proud to join local, regional, and statewide advocacy efforts for equitable systemic change. In the midst of a high-stakes election season, we want to share our ballot initiative endorsements with our community. Vote YES on these state propositions and local measures! If you would like additional information on initiatives that impact our communities, please review these voter guides:  OSSS, along with our collaborative partners, is proud to support the following events for Oakland early childhood providers: Improving Early Learning Outcomes for Boys of Color: 10 Promising Practices This online training introduces early childhood educators to equity-based strategies and promising practices that support our youngest Boys of Color to thrive. Educators will learn evidence-based reflective processes and instructional practices they can implement right away to strengthen self-awareness, disrupt reactivity and biases and create strength-based environments that are responsive to the brilliance, interests, and promise of our diverse Boys of Color.
