Join Oakland Starting Smart and Strong for our next in-person Collaborative Convening* on Tuesday, September 8th. Featured topics will include 

• Recent progress and the evolving early childhood landscape
• The projected impact of state-level policies on local early care and education providers and families
• How the affordability crisis is impacting providers and families 

​Guest speakers include Assemblymember Mia Bonta, Kristin Spanos (CEO, First 5 Alameda County), and Nancy Harvey (Family Child Care provider). The panel will be moderated by Ashley McBride (Education Reporter, Oaklandside), with more speakers to be announced.
