Oakland Starting Smart and Strong would like to wish our colleagues and friends a happy holiday season. Thank you for all of your hard work and commitment to supporting young children and their families. As we move into a new year, we are excited to continue learning, finding new ways to collaborate, and celebrating and supporting our youngest learners. Sending wishes for joy, peace, and happiness in the New Year.

Kindergarten Readiness Programs at OUSD

In the midst of winter, our thoughts turn to summer - summer PreK! Last year's Oakland Unified summer Pre-K program took place at 7 sites and served a total of 135 children, the majority of whom were English Language Learners with minimal to no preschool experience.
