The Snowy Day, by Ezra Jack Keats
Along with Priya, Page anchors the collaborative. After several years as a trusted consultant to Oakland Starting Smart and Strong, Page became co-director in fall 2024 at a pivotal time for the Oakland early childhood ecosystem. To her role as co-director, Page brings a love of community connections and a deep appreciation for the collective impact model of making change.
Page’s strongest skill set is putting ideas into action. Prior to becoming co-director, as a consultant she managed the OSSS Early Learning Symposium and helped steer OSSS’s strategic priorities, as well as consulting with numerous other East Bay nonprofit organizations and government agencies on program design, project management, advocacy, strategic planning, and fund development.
Before becoming a consultant, Page was Senior Administrator for Policy at First 5 Alameda County, where she led the design of the agency’s policy agenda as well as playing a key role in the agency’s fund development, evaluation, and strategic efforts. Prior to her work with First 5, Page worked at the Alameda County Interagency Children’s Policy Council and at the City of Oakland.
An East Bay resident for 20 years, Page has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Randolph- Macon College. She is an Executive Board Member of the Alameda Education Foundation. She lives with her partner and two sons who are not always excited about her efforts to turn ideas into action when it involves cleaning their rooms.
